Cultural tourism, guided city tours and pedagogical excursions

Over the past 2’500 years, this plot of land, which we call Europe, has passed through all of the vicissitudes imaginable.

When one thinks of Europe, one thinks of great artists, great minds, great architecture, great  philosophers, great composers, virtuous, artistic, creative, imaginative, clever, simply wondrous people… but we weren’t really all of those things. The real geniuses came from elsewhere and we took the credit for it.

European history likes to  accentuate all of the pretty colours of the tapestry, but if we look into how it was created, we discover how many tangled threads went into making it.

Over the last 2 millenia, things in Europe have been for the most part “difficult” to put it mildly. Unexpected, vertiginous pirouettes of fate were always lurking in the shadows, providing the backdrop for perpetual “cloak and dagger” contingencies.

But Europe is, undeniably, also full of brilliance and beauty, and it’s such a wonderful place to visit.
